As technology accelerates at an exponential rate fitness equipment consumers are reaping all of the benefits. The amount of models to choose from has escalated significantly, and new machines are hitting the sales floors all of the time. What this means is budget machines are offering the same features that we could only find in professional models just a couple of years ago. The Exerpeutic 5000 Elliptical is no exception. Like pro machines, it has a 3-piece crank which gives you a great motion without you having to worry about it bouncing up and down. Using this elliptical trainer will minimize the stress or pain you might feel while you are working out, so beginners and experts will like the 5000.
The Exerpeutic 5000 employs advanced technology to control resistance levels, utilizing magnets to increase the difficulty of your workout. You can adjust the resistance with ease, using a single button or an iPhone. The magnetic resistance also ensures that you will experience a consistent resistance from your current to your next.
The Exerpeutic 5000 Elliptical features a display that uses Bluetooth. If you own a smart phone or tablet you can download an app for your console from the company. It is connected through Bluetooth straight to your elliptical. The neat thing about the mobile application is that it keeps your entire workout history, allowing you to track the progress you have made and make adjustments to your workout from the convenience of your hand held device.
The Exerpeutic 5000 features a variety of workout programs to choose from. Worth noting is the interval training pre-programmed workout, which will help you to increase the intensity of your workouts by alternating between higher intensities and a resting period. To amp up your workout even more, try the hill climb, which will continuously push you harder until your workout completes.
The Exerpeutic 5000 is equipped with an adjustable incline, which is great because this allows you to increase the intensity of your workout even more. Increasing the incline will provide you with a more rigorous workout, so that you can spend less time on the trainer if you want to, and more time maxing and relaxing.
Although lower end elliptical trainers used to have a constricted stride length, this is no longer the case. The Exerpeutic 5000 has an eighteen inch stride, which means that anyone under six feet should be able to use it with ease. As a taller person who is writing this review however, it is a little disappointing to see that the Exerpeutic without an option at least to adjust the stride length, with all of its other bells and whistles.
The warranty will not exactly blow you away either. The warranty is just one year, and at this point, even budget machines should be able to give you a longer length of warranty. Sadly, the warrant is limited, so the buying an extended warranty might not be an option for you.
The price is reasonable, under five hundred dollars, and it is packed with features, especially for its price, which means that it delivers a great value, if you are shorter than six feet. Along with the great value, you are sure to enjoy the convenience of the mobile app and the comfort on your knees and ankles while you are working out. Unlike other low budget machines, the Exerpeutic 5000 is extremely durable. The fact that it is a higher quality and composed of solid materials will make you feel better about the one year warranty, as well. All in all, the Exerpeutic delivers a good deal for all exercise enthusiasts, experienced or beginner.
